Vintage Adele Simpson Cocktail Dress

This is such a pretty burgundy 1960s vintage cocktail dress with Gold metallic details from designer Adele Simpson. This dress was purchased in the 60's at Garfinkel’s in Washington, D.C. The dress is fully lined, has long sleeves, and closes with a back 21” metal zipper. There are 4 pleats in front, and a V neck trimmed in beautiful burgundy satin.

This dress is in excellent condition with the small exception of one small pulled thread found. Adele Simpson was a very talented, nationally recognized mid century designer and her vintage dresses are well loved by collectors. I would estimate this dress to be a modern day size 4/6, but please use the measurements as a guide for the best fit.
